Chromebooks

How do students sign in to Chromebooks?
Students sign into our Chromebooks using their first and last name, all lowercase with no spaces. Example: firstlast
PK-5th Grade Students have the default password: tlmhs and the last 5 digits of their student ID number. Example: tlmhs55555
6th-12th Grade Students have created their own passwords. If they don't remember their password, any staff member can email cbhelp@tupperlakecsd.net for a password reset for them.
My student's Chromebook is not working. What should I do?
For student Chromebook issues, please email (or have your student email if they can) cbhelp@tupperlakecsd.net and someone from our IT team will assist them as soon as possible.
My student's device is not showing in Securly but I can see they are online. What should we do?
When this happens, the best thing to do is have the student restart their Chromebook. It usually happens when the device has an update pending or their device became out of sync with Securly. A restart will usually solve either one of these scenarios. If it doesn't, email cbhelp@tupperlakecsd.net to let us know.
Sometimes this happens when a student is signed in with another student's account. Check the top right corner for their initials or avatar (picture) and ask the student to click it (if cooperative) to show they are logged into their own account.
